Street Scene

Audio-described performance Opera

Audio described in-house.

Street Scene is a story of everyday life in a big city – a story of love and passion, greed and death. The opera centres around life in a tenement house over two hot summer days, when romance and extramarital affairs create tensions leading to tragic consequences.

We welcome blind or partially sighted audience members to the Royal Conservatoire to enjoy this ambitious production. If you would like more details on the audio-described performance please contact audienceoperations@rcs.ac.uk

Kurt Weill’s opera will be performed in the New Athenaeum Theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and features students from the opera and musical theatre departments, as well as young performers from the Junior Conservatoire.

Please note this is an audio described performance at an independent venue. Every effort has been made to ensure that these details are correct; however, please do double check with the venue for the availability of introductory notes and touch tours when booking.
