This talk will explore key objects which illustrate the life, death and legacy of Thomas Becket. Following his tumultuous journey from a merchant’s son to an archbishop, and from a revered saint in death to a ‘traitor’ in the eyes of Henry VIII.

Alongside images of each object, Lonny Evans will provide a detailed visual description which is accompanied by expert insight from one of the exhibition curators.
