Writing: Making Your Mark Audio Description Tour

Audio-described tour

Join a British Library curator and an audio-describer to discover the extraordinary evolution of one of humankind’s greatest achievements.

The exhibition Writing: Making Your Mark follows the remarkable story of writing from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs carved in stone and early printed text such as William Caxton’s edition of The Canterbury Tales, to the art of note-taking by some of history’s greatest minds, and onwards to the digital communication tools we use today.

Price includes entry to the exhibition. One free ticket for a companion is available per visitor. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
