Job opportunity: Marketing and Audience Manager

VocalEyes is seeking a dynamic individual to help us grow blind and partially sighted audiences for arts and heritage. The post holder must be passionate about access and inclusion, and arts and heritage, and have lived experience of the disabling barriers experienced by blind and partially sighted people in everyday life. They should be an excellent communicator (verbal, listening and written) and a strategic thinker that takes the lead on this important area and contributes to the overall development of the organisation.

Previous experience within the arts or heritage sector is not essential, but we do expect the post-holder to have had some experience in a marketing or audience development role. The salary will start at £26,745 per annum, with employer contribution of 7.5% to a personal pension scheme. The salary will be increased following successful completion of an agreed training and development programme through the Arts Marketing Association.

The  full Job Description is attached, along with the Application Form, which we require all applicants to complete. We will not consider applications by CV only. We also request that each applicant completes the Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form, also attached. Please email the Application and EOM forms (as Word documents, not PDFs) to matthew@vocaleyes.co.uk by the deadline of 2nd November 2018, at 5pm.

Please contact the Chief Executive, Matthew Cock if you would like an informal chat about the opportunity (matthew@vocaleyes.co.uk or by phone 020 7375 1043). The post is offered as full time, five-day week, 40 hours including one-hour lunch break, based in our London office (currently E1, but likely to be SE1 from December 2018). We will consider a part-time role for the right person, and some home-working. However, regular and frequent working from the London office will be expected.
