VocalEyes is seeking a Marketing and Audience Manager to join our core team of six, who share a modern, airy office in London SE1 with Stagetext, another arts access charity.
You will be looking for a role in a close-knit, supportive team where no-one will be telling you how to organise your time. You will be responsible for two of our most important objectives – increasing awareness among people with sight loss of all ages and backgrounds that visiting theatres, museums and heritage sites can be fantastic experiences; and promoting hundreds of audio-described performances and tours taking place at arts and heritage venues across the country through our website, social channels and multi-format What’s On guides.
You will be in touch with our subscribers and followers every day whether online, via email or on the phone, as well as being responsible for our volunteer ambassadors and User Panel. You will also support client venues in their marketing and audience development, and liaise with local and national sight loss groups and organisations.
Experience in marketing or audience development is essential, as is a knowledge of access barriers and services for blind and partially sighted people.
The full Job Description is attached, along with the Application Form, which we require all applicants to complete. We will not consider applications by CV only. We also request that each applicant completes an Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form, also attached. Please email the Application and EOM forms (as Word documents, not PDFs) to email@example.com by the deadline of Thursday 14 November 2019, 5pm.
Please contact the Chief Executive, Matthew Cock if you would like an informal chat about the opportunity (firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 020 7375 1043).
