Opportunity: Project and Volunteer Engagement Manager

Passionate about access, inclusion and heritage? Experienced managing volunteers, digital or heritage projects? Come and lead our high-profile project seeking to  deaf, disabled and neurodivergent volunteers and break down barriers to heritage across the UK.

VocalEyes is seeking a Project and Volunteer Engagement Manager to manage Museum and Heritage Access 2022, which has been awarded National Lottery funding to launch a digital volunteering initiative. The funding is part of The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Digital Skills for Heritage initiative, which aims to raise digital skills and confidence across the whole UK heritage sector.

Post: Project and Volunteer Engagement Manager, Heritage Access 2022 project

Reports to: Project Director, Chief Executive, VocalEyes

Term: Fixed term, 12 months from January 2022. Full time 5 days a week (flexible working available by arrangement)

Location: Working from home, though can hot desk in London SE1

Salary: £27,000-£32,000

Pension: NEST. Employer’s contribution 7.5% employee contribution 0.5% minimum

Annual Leave: 22 days plus Christmas closure (working days between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are given as leave on top of allowance) and statutory public holidays.
