Pathways, a free modular Inclusive Design course for disabled Londoners aged 18-30 is looking for the next generation of access talent.
The modules are delivered over 22 days of training over 9 months. You will learn the principles of inclusive design, access auditing, website accessibility, designing for neurodiversity and more. You will also get the chance to gain first-hand experience by shadowing an access professional.
Here’s what Agne Verescagina, a 2020-21 Pathways Academy student thinks about the course,
“It’s a rich course with useful content and exercises… I’d like to think that I can use the skills I’ve learnt in Pathways in any future role I work in…”
Now in its second year, the course is run by The Centre for Accessible Environments and funded by the City Bridge Trust.
Virtual Taster Sessions
If you are interested in finding out more about the programme, sign up for one of the virtual taster sessions on 29th June or 27th July. These are opportunities to meet the project team and hear from people already working in the inclusion and access field.
The programme starts in October 2021. Visit the website to sign up for taster sessions or apply for the course. This could be the start of an exciting new career in Inclusive Design!
