Access information

The address of the Arena Theatre is Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 1SE.

It’s part of the University of Wolverhampton’s faculty of arts.

It’s situated in the middle of Wolverhampton, easily accessible by road. Signs to “University South” will lead you to Wulfruna Street. Limited street parking is available outside, and the nearby Civic Centre car park is usually open until 10.00pm, but please check on arrival. Apart from the Civic Centre, the nearest car park to the theatre is on Broad Street which is open 24 hours a day.

Wolverhampton train, bus and Metro stations are just a 5 minute walk away.

The main entrance has no steps and one pair of glass double doors that open away from you. The Box Office in on the right of the foyer. There are no steps in the front of house area. There is an accessible toilet – please ask for directions.

Staff will be on hand to assist you and provide your headset and large print or braille cast list. If you would like to listen to the introductory notes, you should collect your headset in good time to take your seat 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

The auditorium seats 150 people on flip up seats. There are stepped aisles with handrails. There is an access lift from the foyer area down to the front seating rows.

Guide dogs are welcome at the Arena Theatre Wolverhampton. Your dog can sit with you in the auditorium, or theatre staff can look after your dog during the performance.
