Belgrade Theatre

Access information

By Car

From all directions: Simply follow the signs for Coventry city centre. We’re just off the Ring Road at junction 9, and that’s also how you gain access to the Belgrade Plaza Car Park which is clearly signed from the Ring Road.

Sat Navs: The generic post code for Belgrade Plaza is CV1 4AJ but  this does not provide direct access to the car park; access is  via the slip road at Junction 9. If you miss the junction, just keep to the right until you’re ready to exit.

Parking Information

The Belgrade Plaza Car Park is located just off the ring road at junction 9 and signposted from the roundabout.

The car park is only a minute’s walk from the theatre, is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, has 3 passenger lifts, toilet facilities and reception, all housed in a glazed service tower. It offers disabled car parking spaces (standard tariff applies) on Level 1 and holds the Secure Park Mark award. The Plaza car park also has a bike rack which is free to use.

Drop-off point

A drop-off point for people with limited mobility is available via Upper Well Street at the top of Belgrade Square, outside Bella Italia. The point is marked by stainless steel bollards and is approx. 20m from the B2 entrance.

By Bus

Most city centre buses stop right outside the theatre on Corporation Street, and Pool Meadow, the central bus station is only a 5 minute walk away. For bus enquiries please visit Network West Midlands or call the travel line on 0871 200 22 33.

By Train

Coventry station is a 15 minute walk from the theatre, however, there is currently a diverted route from the station due to the major roadworks taking place there. Diversion signs are in place for pedestrians but if you’re unsure of the area it may be easier to jump in a taxi for the short journey.

There is no direct bus route from the train station to the theatre but the Travel West Midlands numbers 11, 17 & 27, and the De Courcey no. 585 and 85 services run from right outside the railway station to Pool Meadow bus station which is a 5 minute walk from the theatre.

There is a taxi rank directly outside the railway station and a taxi to the theatre will cost around £4 and take just a few minutes.
