From Bromley South, walk up the High Street to the entrance between Halifax and Greggs which will be on your left. There are two roads to cross, one with a set of traffic lights. From Bromley North, using the crossing at the traffic lights, cross the road and walk down East street. Cross the next set of traffic lights at Market square. The main pedestrianised entrance to the Churchill theatre has six sets of double doors, two of which are automatic. The other doors are generally pinned open prior to a performance. There are no steps. This entrance takes you into the theatre at Circle level. There is a second entrance to the theatre from Tetty Way that leads directly into the stalls. Please ask a member of staff if you wish to use this entrance.
Once inside, the Ticket Sales desk is directly ahead of you. To the left there’s a shop selling drinks and sweets. There are four sets of stairs leading to the Circle Terrace, the Circle bar or the stalls, as well as entrances to the Circle seating. For anyone with limited mobility there’s a lift which provides access to some parts of the theatre. Staff will be available to advise you.
An accessible toilet can be found to the right of the Ticket Sales desk, via some steps. Please ask a member of staff for the RADAR key. There are standard toilets down stairs on either side of the Circle terrace, as well as in the Stalls Foyer and bar, all accessible via stairs.
Headsets, braille and large print cast lists will be available from the Ticket Sales Desk. If you would like to listen to the introductory notes 15 minutes before the start of the performance, you should collect your headset in good time to take your seat.
The auditorium seats just under 800 people on two levels in the Stalls and Circle, which curve round in a slight horseshoe shape. On both levels the seating is arranged in one block with aisles down the sides. The seats are flip-up with arm rests. There are level access wheelchair positions in the circle.
