Access information

The address of the Garrick Theatre is 2, Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0HH. It’s near to Leicester Square in London’s West End.

The nearest stations are Leicester Square, on the Northern and Piccadilly lines, Charing Cross, Northern and Bakerloo lines, and Embankment, District and Circle.

Bus routes that stop near to the theatre include the numbers 3, 6, 9, 12, 13, 15, 24, 29 and 30.

If you are arriving by car, you can take advantage of Q-Parks Theatreland Parking Scheme and save 50 percent on parking charges. To qualify, present your Q-Park ticket for validation at the box office. The main entrance to the theatre has two steps up into the foyer. There are handrails on both sides.  The box office is to your left as you enter.
There are two bars, one in the Foyer and another on the circle level.  There is a cloakroom situated to the right as you enter the foyer. The toilets are on every level of the theatre and there is an accessible toilet in the Dress Circle, which has level access from the foyer.
To get to the stalls seating there are 29 steps down from the foyer.

Please ask a member of staff for your headset and large print or braille cast list. If you would like to listen to the introductory notes 15 minutes before the start of the performance, you should collect your headset in good time to take your seat.  Staff will be able to direct you.

The auditorium of the Garrick Theatre is traditionally decorated in red and cream in all the lavish trappings of the Italian renaissance style, along with frolicking golden cupids. The Garrick is one of the West End’s smaller and more intimate theatres with approximately 650 seats spread across the three levels. The seats tip up when not in use. In the stalls the floor slopes down towards the auditorium, and there are steps in the dress circle.
