Access Information for Lighthouse, Poole
The address of the Lighthouse is 21, Kingland Road, Poole, BH15 1UG.
It’s in the city centre, opposite Poole bus station.
If you are arriving by car, there are designated setting down and collection bays immediately outside the front of the building, as well as a limited number of parking spaces for Blue Badge holders.
There are also parking spaces for Blue Badge holders in all Poole car parks. The nearest car park is at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, which is across the road from the Lighthouse. There is also a car park at the Dolphin Swimming Centre, a five minute walk away.
Poole rail station is a ten minute walk away through the shopping centre.
Lighthouse has a concert hall, mid-scale theatre, small-scale studio theatre, independent cinema, art galleries, and function rooms.
There is level access to the foyers, bars, café, toilets and performance spaces on all floors. There are three levels – ground, first and second floor, accessed by stairs or lifts.
The main glass entrance doors are automatic. As you enter Lighthouse the Box Office is to your right. On the ground floor there is a cafe and bar, and on the first flor there is another bar.
If you would like to listen to the introductory notes, you should collect your headset in good time to take your seat fifteen minutes before the start of the performance. Please ask a member of staff for your headset and Braille or large print cast list.
In the theatre the seats tip up when not in use and there are stepped aisles between the seating blocks.
