The nearest tube stations are Tottenham Court Road on the Northern and Central lines, and Leicester Square station on the Northern and Piccadilly lines.

From Leicester Square station take the North Exit up Charing Cross Road. After crossing over Cambridge Circus, Phoenix Street is the first turning on the right.

From Tottenham Court Road station take the South Exit down Charing Cross Road. Phoenix Street is on the left, just before Cambridge Circus.

Bus numbers 14, 19 and 38 all stop within a few minutes walk of the theatre at Cambridge Circus.

Please note that Phoenix Street itself is cobbled and uneven and running all the way along both sides of the street are short bollards.

The theatre entrance is slightly higher than street level and has a small step up. Swing doors take you through into the foyer where you can collect your tickets from the Box Office window, which is to the right. Roped stanchions partition the box office queue from the main entrance way.

Your headsets and both Braille and large print cast lists can be collected at the merchandise counter in the main foyer. Before issuing a headset, staff will take your contact name and telephone number along with a cash or credit card deposit. This will be returned to you at the end of the performance.

From the main foyer there are 13 steps down to the Stalls level and 21 up to the Dress Circle. The staircases have handrails on both sides.

The entrance to the Grand Circle is outside, to the left of the main entrance doors. It has one stairway of 54 steps leading up to the auditorium.

There are toilets and bars on each level, and there’s also a cloakroom. Staff will be on hand to direct you.

The theatre auditorium is a traditional horseshoe shape and seats just over 1000 on three levels. Its rich red, gold and cream décor is accentuated by the dark wooden panelling that borders the back of the stalls. On all levels the seating is arranged in two blocks, with an aisle either side and one in between. In the stalls the floor slopes down towards the stage, and in the Dress and Upper Circles the aisles have steps. All the seats have arm rests and flip up when not in use.

Please note that this information has been supplied by the venue and although every effort has been made to check details, you may still have some queries. In this case, we would ask you to contact the theatre direct for clarification.
