Your headsets and both Braille and large print cast lists can be collected at the merchandise counter in the main foyer. Before issuing a headset, staff will take your contact name and telephone number along with a cash or credit card deposit. This will be returned to you at the end of the performance.
From the main foyer there are 13 steps down to the Stalls level and 21 up to the Dress Circle. The staircases have handrails on both sides.
The entrance to the Grand Circle is outside, to the left of the main entrance doors. It has one stairway of 54 steps leading up to the auditorium.
There are toilets and bars on each level, and there’s also a cloakroom. Staff will be on hand to direct you.
The theatre auditorium is a traditional horseshoe shape and seats just over 1000 on three levels. Its rich red, gold and cream décor is accentuated by the dark wooden panelling that borders the back of the stalls. On all levels the seating is arranged in two blocks, with an aisle either side and one in between. In the stalls the floor slopes down towards the stage, and in the Dress and Upper Circles the aisles have steps. All the seats have arm rests and flip up when not in use.
