Studio Theatre, Sheffield

The Studio Theatre is part of Sheffield Theatres, which describe themselves as:

“We’re the world-famous Crucible, a Sheffield landmark with a distinctive stage and a reputation for unforgettable productions. We’re the Studio, an intimate, versatile space for getting even closer to the action. We’re your ticket to big names and local heroes, blockbuster musicals and captivating dramas, new plays and timeless treasures, new voices and long-term friends. Whether you’re coming for a show, a workshop, a coffee and a cake, one of our dementia friendly tea dances or free family fun in the foyer, we can’t wait to see you.”

The versatile Studio is a box of surprises. This miniature marvel flexes from 100 to 400 seats and welcomes top treats from the fringe, local heroes and new treasures. Intimate, but never small scale, the space is completely transformed for each show.
